- Eng. Magdi Osman is the CEO and founder of Sudanese American Engineers Association (SAEA). he leads the overall strategic and operational responsibility for SAEA’s programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.
- Prior to his current role, Eng. Osman was a master’s degree holder in Aviation and aerospace management / aviation and aerospace system safety from Emery Riddle Aeronautical university.
- Eng. Osman is entrepreneur a founder of Trans-pacific Aviation Inc a 145-repair station operate in five states providing aircraft maintenance and engineering services; prior to that worked for North west airlines and Alaska airlines as an engineering for more than 15 years
- Eng. Osman serves as a president for Sudanese Association for northern California (SANC) for three term 2006 -2010 and 2016-2018 SANC is non-profit organization their members are Sudanese living in the bay area.
- Eng. Osman is passionate about humanitarian aid and working for SAEA fulfills his desire to help those in need especially in Sudan.

- Ibrahim Ayad, SAEA Co-Founder, has over 18 years with Cisco Systems where he has architected, designed and deployed complex networking solutions in the service provider, enterprise voice and video domains. His current position is a senior system engineer at Cisco, where he performed in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects on existing Cisco’s cloud computing and hosted collaboration services offers. Actively participating as a specialist on Unified Communications, provides consultative support in Collaboration architecture to partner’s and Cisco systems engineers. In addition to mr. Ayad currently responsibilities as an architect, he is currently a PhD candidate in the College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Colorado at Boulder. His research interests encompass Networking architecture, Internet protocol stack, in particular Multipath-TCP reliable transport, Video coding, and Neural adaptive streaming algorithms using machine learning and artificial intelligence (ai).
- Ayad is very passionate about giving back to the local communities and abroad in Sudan hence, he is the founder and executive director of Ayad Foundation a non-profit organization founded post the success of the first build a class room project in Sudan. The organization is committed to giving a gift for a child in need of education, a hope to fighting illiteracy and preparing a strong human for a bright future through education.

The Board of Directors of the Sudanese American Engineers Association (SAEA) is responsible for providing strategic guidance to the organization by setting long-term goals, overseeing programs, ensuring financial stability, fostering community engagement, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting leadership development, all while ensuring that SAEA’s initiatives align with the needs of its members and the broader Sudanese-American engineering community.

The role of the Sudanese American Engineers Association (SAEA) is to empower and support Sudanese-American engineers by providing professional development, educational resources, humanitarian aid, and fostering community engagement, all aimed at enhancing their careers and impact in both the U.S. and Sudan.
